Clean My Email was born from a simple frustration: email apps that claim to help you actually make things worse by reading all your messages and selling your data.
Our Story
Like you, we were drowning in promotional emails, newsletters we forgot we signed up for, and notifications from services we no longer use. We tried other email cleaning apps, but something always felt off.
Then we read the fine print. Many "free" email organizers were scanning our entire inbox—every private message, every receipt, every conversation—and using that data for advertising. That didn't sit right with us.
So we built Clean My Email differently. We realized that to group emails by sender and help you clean in bulk, we only need to read the email headers—the "From" address, date, and subject line. We never need to read your actual messages.
